Data collection and analysis on our website

Server log files

Server log files are anonymous data that are automatically collected by our provider when you access our website. This information does not allow any personal conclusions to be drawn about you, but for technical reasons it is indispensable for the delivery and presentation of our contents. Typical server log files are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP Adress

The data of the server log files are not merged with other data sources. The information is required in particular to correctly deliver the contents of our website and to ensure the long-term functionality of our website. Logfiles also allow a precise check in case of suspicion of illegal use of our website.

Cookies

When using our website, only necessary cookies for error-free operation are set. We do not use analysis tools etc.

However, the use of login, session and security cookies is unavoidable at certain points. They are e.g. necessary for the administration of the site by us as website operator in the so-called backend (e.g. if the login page for the backend is called) or are set on our application portal for security reasons. Cookies are also required on our applicant portal in order to be able to save the entries of our applicants across several pages.

Wordfence

On this page we use the software „Wordfence“ of Defiant Inc, Seattle, USA. Wordfence is a security plugin that protects our site against so-called brute force attacks, unauthorized login attempts and systematic spying out of software gaps. Wordfence also uses cookies and sends IP addresses of website visitors to the provider’s servers in order to compare them with so-called blacklists, which already contain unwanted IP addresses in the described sense.

For more information on Deviant’s collection and use of the data, please see Wordfence’s privacy policy: https://www.wordfence.com/privacy-policy/ and https://www.wordfence.com/help/general-data-protection-regulation

Order processing (Art. 28 DSGVO)

Our offer includes contents, services and achievements of external offerers like for example our Website Host Domainfactory or Defiant (see Wordfence). We have commissioned external service providers in accordance with legal regulations (including contract for order data processing).
