Germany a trendy holiday destination – One out of four to spend summer holidays in Germany

Two third of Germans can imagine to spend their holidays more often in their own country. As yet, one quarter of planned summer holidays are already spent in Germany (26 percent). This was the outcome of a survey representing the population, conducted by the IFAK Institute in Taunusstein in spring 2007, in which 1003 individuals were interviewed.

Geringe Mitarbeiterbindung hemmt Innovation,  Wirtschaftswachstum und betriebliche Zukunftschancen. Schuld daran ist ein nicht mitarbeitergerechtes Arbeitsumfeld, das häufig auf Defizite in der Personalführung zurückzuführen ist. Die Folgen sind: geringe Eigeninitiative, viele Fehltage, wenig Kundenorientierung und kaum Ideenreichtum. Dies ergab das aktuelle Arbeitsklima-Barometer des IFAK Instituts, Taunusstein, auf der Basis einer Repräsentativbefragung von 1.978 Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmern in Deutschland.

Six out of ten employees look forward to their work every day.

Taunusstein, 27 April 2007. Most Germans have a very positive attitude towards their work: three out of five employees enjoy going to work every day, three quarters love their job. Three quartes are also (very) satisfied with their job. And asked if they won in the lottery an amount that allowed them not to go to work any more, two third said: “I would prefer to continue with my job”. These are the results of a current representative telephone survey carried out by IFAK with 2001 employees.

When dissatisfied with superiors: Quit the job

More than two third of dissatisfied employees intend to have left their present employer within a year

Being dissatisfied with their boss is quite often decisive for employees in Germany to hand in their resignation. This was shown in a survey conducted by the IFAK Institute in Taunusstein from 9 October until 13 November 2006, in which 664 representatively chosen employees over the age of 18 were personally interviewed throughout Germany.
